About Our Father's Business

First post on the blog. YAY!
Anyway... this Christmas holiday, some of the family from Winston-Salem came for the weekend.
Cant wait to see them.
Forgot about these pics, but me and my mom went to church Sunday.

You know how every church has that one choir that is a group of people who do not qualify for the mass choir?
Well, that choir sang Sunday.
The beautiful and hilarious thing about it is everyone sings whatever note they want to.
You got to love it

And

To prove I was paying attention in church, the sermon was entitled "About Our Father's Business" and it's all about Losing it!, Finding it!, and Keeping it!

Mom: Thristed suit. Dooney and Burke Handbag. Target for Rodarte tights. Michael Antonio Heels
Me: Vintage dress. Crocodile vintage bag (made into clutch). Target tights. Nine West bootsies

My mom found this dress in a vintage shop last year.
I've been putting it off until now. The natural silhouette is tubular yet a little form fitting
So I tied it the back

I remember like yesterday when I got these babies.
They didnt have them in my size online, not even in the store.
One day, when I was visiting my friend at work, there they were.

Feather necklace from Sister's Jewelry and Gifts in Greensboro, NC

After church, me and my mother delivered leftover christmas from church to the sick and shut in
or just for the people who stopped coming to church that had cards.
This store is the original.
Never been renovated nor sign changed from the 1920s
Thought it was interesting
